Spanish flintlock shotgun Round barrel with thunderbolt sides, decorated with silver flowers and hallmarked on a gold background (unidentified hallmarks, probably by Ripoll). Miquelet-style lock in chased iron engraved with foliage and game. Plain cut silver fittings. Wooden trigger guard enriched with silver. Madrilenian-style stock with draped cheekpiece carved with floral scrolls. Horn tip. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Circa 1780. Length: 149 cm. A.B.E. (minor wear, one pin missing, needs cleaning)
