Rouet hunting harquebus Rifled barrel with leaf frog, traces of dotted signature. Grooves on lock tail. Hand-removable spinning wheel lock engraved with a deity on a chariot and foliage. Dog covered with a brass plate engraved with an allegory of Justice. Shaft with horn tip and bone threads. Brass counterplate engraved with a languid woman, cherub and dogs in a foliage frame. Double trigger (one bent). Brass trigger guard (one screw missing). Sided stock, decorated with brass wire inlays, horn stock drawer. Engraved horn and mother-of-pearl inlays. Sliding basin cover. Late 17th - early 18th century. Baseplate and stock partly overdecorated after the 19th century. Length: 106 cm. A.B.E. (missing the sight)
