Officer's sword Silver mounting, pommel and spindle with sides, one-branch hilt, donkey step and shell with serrated decoration. Triangular blade engraved, gilded and blued in thirds and marked "Aubrÿ Le Jeune Md Fourbisseur au Roÿ de France et à la tête noire Pont St Michel à Paris". Parchment-covered scabbard with three fittings and steel day lock. Louis XVI- Directoire period. A.B.E. (varnished) AUBRY (Le Jeune) Blaise. Fourbisseur du Roi, active around 1770.

Brass mounting (traces of gilding), olive pommel, striated, single-branch guard and double shell decorated with line work. Blade with engraved, gilded and blued median flattening and thirds (wear).
