Prasse W 106 (only 3 copies known). - Extremely rare woodcut with a typical motif by Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956), who had a special relationship to ships. The sheet dates from his extremely productive creative year of 1918, in which he cut more than 100 woodblocks. - Image area and signature area in mat opening somewhat browned, right outer image margin with 2 small holes, faint dampstains in the white margins (extending slightly into the image area in the left margin), lower and upper white margins with numbers in pencil, somewhat creased and slightly wavy.
