Beautiful collection of erotic-mythological drawings by the Belgian artist Henri Privat-Livemont (1861-1936), one of the most important poster artists of Art Nouveau. - One pencil drawing shows "Le vieux Satyr" with a panpipe, who is younger and slimmer in two other drawings, intensely devoted to a young woman. The dated sheet depicts a procession to a tree of life in full bloom, which is shown in even greater detail in the pen and ink drawing. - Somewhat browned and stained, all works mounted under passepartout on verso and mostly with small red collector's stamp. - Provenance: From the collection of Hans-Jürgen Döpp, Frankfurt.
