Very rare reprint of the 3rd issue of the magazine, here redesigned as an artist's book in pop folio format. The magazine published by Les Levine "Culture Hero. A fanzine of the stars of the super world" was published from 1969-1970 in only 5 issues. - "Culture Hero may have been the most sacrilegious of the offset underground newspapers of the period." Vancouver Art Gallery, 1974). - "Les Levine who called himself a 'media sculptor' published the art world tabloid 'Culture Hero' in order to expose the reality of the media's role in branding the artist. A cross between Warhol's Interview (founded the same year) and John Wilcock's countercultural paper 'Other Scenes'..."
