Large forest glass bottle with sea battle scene after Abraham Storck. Netherlands, 18th/19th century, in the shape of a blown green forest glass bottle with a broken neck, the front with an oil-painted scene of a naval battle involving various ships under the English and Dutch flags. Height: approx. 44 cm. The scene of a naval battle depicted here is probably based on the painting "The Royal Prince and other vessels at the Four Days Battle" (in the National Maritime Museum Greenwich) by Abraham Storck, the Four Days Battle of June 1-4, 1666 of the Second Anglo-Dutch War of 1665-1667, painted around 1670.
