Rare work, the plates show views and works of art of the cathedral, St. Peter, Nonnberg, Hohen-Salzburg, ecclesiastical equipment, Tittmoning, Mauterndorf and Friesach; with the descriptive texts to the plates. - The painter and architect Georg Pezolt (1810-1878) was the first honorary monument conservator in the city of Salzburg. Pezolt's contribution to the preservation of Salzburg's old town and the city's cultural heritage remains undisputed. - Some heavy foxing and browning in places.
