Joseph Mach, better known as Father Joseph Mach, was a Jesuit known for his preaching and his written works on subjects such as devotion and asceticism. He studied humanities and rhetoric at the college of Alcalá de Henares and philosophy and teaching at the Imperial College of Madrid. Due to his exile because of the so-called "slaughter of the friars", he continued his studies in Valprès-Le Puy, where he later taught rhetoric and Greek. He returned to Spain in 1849. They have Spanish paper covers. In good condition.
