Compared to Arbeter Fraynd, another of Rocker's publications, it was aimed at a more intellectual audience. Publication had to be discontinued in 1903 due to lack of funds, only to be revived in January 1905 by Rocker and his comrades-in-arms. The Jewish anarchist workers' movement in London was on the rise, resulting in increased demand for the magazine, which was expanded to 48 pages. Nevertheless, publication was discontinued in 1908. - With a title page and table of contents (2 pp.) for 1900-1902 and an illustrated title for 1906/07. - Volumes 1-3: slightly browned, block broken at the end, slightly brownstained in places. - Volume 4: block detached from binding and loosened, illustrated title reinforced and with marginal tears, without the table of contents, 2 missing leaves replaced by copies, somewhat stained in places, the first and last leaves with marginal tears.
