Book of hours - 3 vellum leaves from a book of hours manuscript. Inscribed on both sides in Gothic minuscule, single-column. With several 1-2-line initials in blue, red and gold, some with foliate borders. France or Flanders, c. 1450. ca. 12 x 8.5 cm. Mounted on paper at the upper corners. Fine vellum, wide margins, somewhat stained and slightly browned, lettering and decorations beautifully preserved.

Cold-stamped brown calf (contemporary binding). 16 lines in gothic letters in brown and red ink, blue or gold initials, numerous polychrome and gold borders and ornaments, 20 beautiful illuminated initials with borders. Stigmata painted in medallion on gold background f. 101 r°. Binding gnawed with leather chips and one corner missing.
