Hermsdorf/Spree - Handwritten "Erb Kauf Contract" for the Hermsdorf manor on the Spree (Lohsa). There, 19.VIII.1818. 16 sheets, with the exception of the last one written on both sides. Chancellery cursive in brown pen. 34 x 21.5 cm. Cord stitching. The seller was Gotthelf Heinrich Christian von Minckwitz, the buyer Johann Gotthelf von Standtfest, landowner of Kaup(p)la, Commerau and Jetscheba. A total of 36,000 thalers were to be paid as the purchase price to various, precisely itemized recipients. - One of two copies, the original signatures on p. 14v cut out recto with loss of text. The last two leaves with summary, two signatures probably of the notary and the recorder as well as paper-covered seal. - Some browning and foxing.
