Magnificent set consisting of a blouse-dress, a panjah shawl and cotton shalwar pants The blouse in white cotton blend, with open collar, features a bib embroidered with fine boteh/floral motifs in white threads, and closes with three buttons (108 x 73 folded sleeves); the white pants are embellished with embroidery on the lower legs, and a ligature at the waist. The large shawl is decorated with ikat warp, animal and stylized motifs in stripes/extra weft, squares and lozenges, without hems (edges), like sambalpuri saris with similar motifs, worn for festivals and auspicious days (248 x 114).
