Set consisting of a sari and a large cotton putkulli shawl. The sari, with its blue background, features plaid motifs, while the border is embellished with a brocade of gold rosettes. The ecru cotton shawl features beautiful geometric motifs in additional wefts of indigo, blue and red, standing out against the light background, alongside broad red stripes edged in white. The intellectual property of these designs is now protected in the country according to their geographical identification; cotton, cotton blend.
