Pommel with profile of Henri IV and fleur-de-lys, hilt with one branch and two straight quillons, body knot with the creation date of the body "1593". Chased keyboard with the great arms of France on a bundle of flags. Triangular blade engraved, gilded and blued in thirds, signed "ICB" on the heel. Varnished leather scabbard (broken) with brass trim (remains of gilding). Missing boulle sting. A.B.E. Restoration period.
