H. 1.78 x W. 2.48 m This charming verdure features a wooded landscape with a river, two herons and a swan in the foreground, set against a mountainous landscape with a village and a castle. The border is decorated with a garland of acanthus leaves and fleur-de-lys set in cut-leather cartouches. The tapestry has preserved some of its beautiful colors and original border, and is in good overall condition, with some wear and old restorations. It is reduced in height and probably in width.
