One of 999 numbered copies. - Very good condition. - This atlas was produced around 1542 in Venice for King Henry VIII (1491-1547) and was created by Battista Agnese (ca. 1500-1564). He is considered one of the most accomplished and productive cartographers of the 16th century and received numerous commissions for atlases from European rulers, including King Henry VIII of England in 1542.
