Early 18th c. Rome, reliquary crucifix in ebony, lapis lazuli, marble, silver, gilt bronze and silver. It features a Christ, titulus and bones in chased silver on an ebony and lapis lazuli cross, adorned at the ends and cross arms in silvered and gilded bronze, decorated with fleurons and foliage. The base is also in lapis lazuli veneer and black marble; on the front of the base, a relic of the Cross in a silvered medallion surrounded by a crown of thorns gilt bronze crown of thorns.
