Những thiết kế trang trí trên đồ men lam Huế đều do các nghệ sĩ Việt Nam thực hiện và giao cho các lò gốm. Vậy nên, dù được tạo tác bởi người Hoa nhưng sứ men lam Huế vẫn giữ nguyên tinh thần và hồn Việt trong mỗi sản phẩm.
