Large bronze rain drum
Based on models from the Dông Sôn culture, the upper part consists of a circular tray forming a tympanum, resting on a wide base with a widely flared foot flanked by four rounded handles. The tray is decorated in relief with a twelve-pointed star in a central medallion, surrounded by numerous geometric friezes running around the tray and down the rest of the body.
