HISTORY - MURAT Joachim (1767 - 1815) - Letter signed

In 1787, he abandoned the ecclesiastical path to join a chasseur à cheval regiment. At the dawn of the 13th Vendémaire, he joined Bonaparte, married Caroline and rose through the ranks, becoming Marshal of the Empire in 1804 and King of Naples in 1808. Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor. He sought to regain his kingdom and was shot on 13.10.1815. Letter signed as “Gouverneur de Paris” dated Paris, 28 Nivose (08.01.1802. He orders his correspondent to convene the Council of War to try the soldiers Collot, Fleury and Barbier for attempted armed robbery.: "…tous trois soldats de la garde de Paris, prévenus d'exaction et de tentative de vols à main armée…”.
