Gold, enameled knight's cross of the Reunion order, hallmarked with a rooster's head, twelve white enameled branches interspersed with arrows, gold centers in two pieces, blue enameled rim; obverse, the imperial throne and the motto: "TOUT POUR L'EMPIRE" and, reverse with: "N" surrounded by a laurel wreath on a radiant background and the motto: "À JAMAIS" (FOREVER); crown chased with eagles, enameled blue on the border, marked, on one side: "NAPOLÉON" and, on the other: "FONDATEUR"; light blue ribbon; diameter 35.5 mm, gross weight 20 g. (A few small accidents to the white enamel; tiny chip to the blue enamel on the reverse). First Empire period. Very good condition.
