Gold, enameled knight's cross of the Reunion order, hallmarked with a rooster's head, twelve white enameled branches interspersed with arrows, gold centers in two pieces, blue enameled rim; obverse, the imperial throne and the motto: "TOUT POUR L'EMPIRE" and, reverse with: "N" encircled by a laurel wreath on a radiant background and the motto: "À JAMAIS" (FOREVER); crown chased with eagles, enameled blue on the border, marked, on one side: "NAPOLÉON" and, on the other: "FONDATEUR" (FOUNDER); light blue ribbon with bouffette; diameter 36.5 mm, gross weight 21.7 g. (Some enamel is slightly missing from a few points, one of which is slightly bent; the blue enamel on the reverse is slightly missing). First Empire period. Very good condition.
