Second edition, partly original, revised and corrected, enlarged and decorated with 3 engravings (frontispiece of each volume on Chine appliqué) after Ch. Chasselet. Copy in large paper (hence the format close to the classic in-12, but it is indeed a work imposed in the in-18 format). The edition, published in three editions, was printed in a run of 2,000 copies. Contemporary green half calf, marbled paper boards, four-rib spine decorated with fillets, untrimmed. Spines faded, some foxing, paper slightly yellowed. (Tranchida, 213-219-233).
