"First edition" i.e. Belgian preface to this work, the text of which is taken from La Presse. It is not known whether this is the first preface, since it is announced at the same time as the Hauman edition in the Bibliographie de la Belgique of 1839 (Van Der Perre, p.24). Half-basane with corners, grotesque spine, title page, marbled edges. Joints cracked, split at ends, corners worn.
