FABERGÉ. Silver cigarette case. Hallmark 88 star / AN, double-headed eagle, Fabergé hallmark in Cyrillic. AN ( Anders Juhaninpoika Nevalainen 1858 1933). The lid is adorned in high relief with two gold dogs, one holding a diamond in its mouth, eyes probably in red gemstone and a gold cabochon with rose inlay. Gold clasp with a crowned rose-cut diamond (slight chips) measuring 7.7 x 5.8 mm. One eye is missing. The case features a separate Vesta match compartment with inner scraper and silk wick passage for lighting in windy conditions. Engraved with a patronymic on the lid. Gross weight 210 gr. Presented in a wooden case. Accidents, dents, wear and tear.
