RARE SELJUK BRONZE LAMPSTAND
Ca. AD 900 - 1200.
An Islamic Seljuk bronze lampstand with spiral decoration on body. The tripod has an adorned foot, and there is a typical late islamic lamp on the top, most likely from Iran. For similar see: Benaki Museum, guide of the collection n. 157.
