RARE SELJUK BRONZE LAMPSTAND
Ca. AD 900 - 1200.
An Islamic Seljuk bronze lampstand with floral decoration on the body. The tripod has an adorned foot, and there is a typical late Islamic lamp on the top, most likely from Iran. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
