MEDIEVAL SELJUK OPENWORK DECORATED HANDLE

Ca. AD 900 - 1200. A Medieval Seljuk decorated openwork handle of an incense burner. The handle has a tubular body adorned with a flower on the bottom. The external part is decorated with disk-shaped moulded parts. For similar see: Islamic Metalwork from Afghanistan (9th-13th century), n. 333.
