RARE SELJUK GILDED BRONZE CANDLESTICK DECORATED WITH KUFIC INSCRIPTION
Ca. AD 1300 - 1400. An Islamic Seljuk gilded bronze candlestick bell, decorated with Kufic inscription around the body and the neck. The bell shaped body is connected to a narrow neck. Most of the silver inlay is still preserved. For similar see: L'eredità dell'Islam, 1993, fig. 180.
