Souvenirs of Italy, circa 1880/1900 Reunion of TWO PHOTOGRAPHIC ALBUMS containing seventy-four prints for one and seventy-two for the other, mostly albumen and mostly captioned, with the photographers' names printed in the margin - Album no. 1: Genoa (twenty-four) mostly by Alfred Noack), Pisa (fourteen), Florence (twenty-two mostly by the Alinari studio), Venice (twelve mostly by Paolo Salviati); - Album no. 2: Venice (twenty-six mostly by Paolo Salviati), Padua (five mostly by James Anderson), Verona (two), great lakes (twenty-eight), alpine regions (eight). Prints: H. 28 W. 22 cm approx. Both albums are beautifully bound in black leather, each print separated by a serpente. The front boards are embossed with the initials VB, and the spines are stamped with the date 1899.
