Tira de encaje antiguo de Bruselas (Bélgica) c. 1860/1880
A strip of antique lace from Brussels (Belgium), work called needlepoint. It is a fragment of a larger piece not preserved. A rich decoration based on flowers, stems, leaves and other floral and vegetal motifs, cover the entire surface of the lace. It is finished off by two sinuous borders. There is a flaw at the base of the lace, approximately 2.5 cm long, which does not affect the vegetal decoration. Good general conservation. Measurements: 44 x 7,5 cm.
