OTTO LETTERE AUTOGRAFE E DUE BIGLIETTI DA VISITA
EIGHT AUTOGRAPHIC LETTERS AND TWO VISITING TICKETS from lawyer Ottavio Ziino, dated between 1916 and 1917. The letters are contained within a coeval folder. The lawyer, an expression of Palermo's emerging upper middle class, was one of the Florios' attorneys, especially in the declining phase of Casa Florio. He was responsible for the construction of the palazzo of the same name on Palermo's Via Dante, thanks to the financial help ofVincenzo Florio Jr. The palace was designed by the lawyer's brother, architectNunzio Ziino. The building today is the city's museum headquarters.
