Dimensions: H: 37; W: 33 cm Provenance: Luxembourg estate The technique of "soufflé molded" vases was perfected by Etablissements Gallé in 1924 for the presentation of these prestigious pieces at the 1925 Universal Exhibition. After demolding, the vases underwent a series of finishing operations, including acid treatment and various types of polishing, to bring out the full value of their important reliefs.
