LATE ROMAN PURPLE GLASS BOTTLE DECORATED WITH MOULDED GEOMETRIC MOTIF
Ca. AD 300 - 400. A Late Roman purple glass bottle with a decorated body depicting geometric motifs on the main register. The shoulders and foot are adorned with vertical lines. The bottle has a very fine vertical handle connected to the out curving rim. For similar see: Christie's, Live Auction 13850, Antiquities, Lot. 285.
