EGYPTIAN SEMI PRECIOUS STONE NECKLACE WITH PENDANT

New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A beautiful Egyptian necklace composed of dozens of hard stone beads in different forms and colours. Made in one line and connected at the centre with a drop-shaped rock crystal pendant. Expertly strung with modern thread, this necklace seamlessly blends the past with the present in a stunning display of wearable history. Size: 260mm x 20mm; Weight: 84g Provenance: Property of a London gallery; previously in a collection of a North London gentleman; formerly in a collection of Mrs B. Ellison, a deceased former member of the Egyptian Exploration Fund, bought from the 1940s, Cairo and London.
