CHEVROLET PICK-UP 1952 The Chevrolet pick-up gets an all-new body for 1947. Available from launch in a range of wheelbase lengths (295 cm to 348 cm) and load capacities (500 kg to 1000 kg). It is powered by a 6-cylinder in-line engine (from 3.5 l to 4.3 l). The manual gearbox has 3 or 4 speeds. Year after year, it undergoes minor modifications, mainly of a technical nature. It wasn't until 1954 that it received a one-piece windshield and a grille with a single large horizontal bar, which considerably modified the front end. An automatic gearbox is available as an option. During this period, over 2 million units were produced. The model offered for sale underwent a complete restoration (chassis, body, gearbox, engine, etc.) at the beginning of this millennium. A complete file attests to this. It has 95,200 miles on the clock. Version 3100 from 1952, it is a collector's vehicle registered in France. It can cover any distance. The vehicle, imported from the USA, was bought in Amsterdam in 2011 and brought back to France by road. It boasts a bright raspberry color.
