TOULOUSE 1758 - 1759 Silver stewing spoon and fork in a pair, filet pattern, engraved with a later 19th-century "rebus" coat of arms surmounted by a comtal crown. Master silversmith : Jean GAILHARD, received in 1747, died in 1781 Weight: 375 g - length of spoon: 32.8 cm, of fork: 28.5 cm Marked: this "cutlery" was made over two years - the fork bears the letter F, the spoon the letter date E. Curiously, the discharge dates from 1781 - 1789, the date of the master silversmith's death.
