PARIS 1752 Pair of silver candlesticks with scalloped poly-lobed base, on two levels, with the two flanges of the ribbed baluster shaft. The bowl is chased with twisted ribs. Engraved with the letters F.L around the base. Master silversmith: Edme-Pierre BALZAC, received in 1739, declared bankrupt on August 17, 1752. Hallmarked on the reverse and in the binet, discharge around the foot. Weight: 1400 g - height: 24.3 cm - diameter: 13.7 cm Condition: two old cracks restored on the edge of the binet
