Porsche 911 2.0 1966

Spanish registration title FFVE Certificate These pages focus on one of the most legendary sports cars in history: the 911! The first one we’re presenting is a member of the 901 generation, also known as the “0-Programme”: this was the very first version, equipped with a 2-litre flat-6 engine on a short-wheelbase chassis, and was only produced from 1965 to 1966. Our example was delivered new to California in 1965, before being imported to Spain in 2004 by its current owner, a keen Porsche collector who took care to preserve as many of the original features as possible in the interior, which now shows an interesting original condition; the paintwork, in the rare and sought-after Slate Grey colour. After its return, it was fitted with a period 4-point roll bar, with the aim of taking part in regularity rallies; in total, this car has successfully competed in around twenty events since the mid-2000s. The car is powered by a 1967 911 engine, a characteristic 2-litre type 901/05 with Weber carburettors; mated to the original gearbox, the combination is very pleasant, and shows just how much care the owner has taken to keep his car in good working order over the last 20 years. Eligible for the unmissable 2.0 l Cup by Peter Auto grid, this car now offers the best of both worlds: a mythical, rare and sought-after car, perfectly eligible for a guest grid at the finest events on the calendar.
