A cased Colt Mod. 1849 Pocket Cal. .31(BlackPowder), SN. 43319, matching numbers. Rough octagonal barrel, length 6". Five-shot cylinder. Barrel with two-piece company mark, on frame and cylinder "Colts Patent". Cylinder with scroll engraving with stagecoach hold-up. All iron parts patinated and somewhat spotted. Silver-plated brass grip frame (somewhat rubbed). Smooth walnut grip panels, small impact marks on the right side of the barrel wedge. Length 25 cm. In a case lined with red velvet, containing a powder flask and bullet mould as well as a pistol wrench. Dimensions 28 x 15 x 5 cm. Comes with a contemporary slim Jim leather holster.
