A German flintlock hunting rifle, ca. 1690 Octagonal barrel, slightly constricted in the middle, with a seven-groove rifled bore in 15 mm caliber. Dovetailed iron and brass sights. "HCF" engraved above the breech. Lock with heavily cambered plate, trigger with adjustable set trigger. Walnut full stock with engraved bone nose cap. Butt stock with patchbox, the spring-loaded slide cover engraved with a hunting scene. Smooth iron furniture. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Length 111 cm. Condition: II +
