Description

A Mauser G 41(M) semi-auto rifle Cal. 8x57JS, SN. 9959, major parts with matching numbers, charging lever and furniture non-matching. Slightly matte bore, solid lands/grooves. Operated by a gas trap at the muzzle. Ten shots. Rear sight graduated 1 - 12. The chamber area marked "G 41(M) / 1942". Major components with Eagle/"135" acceptance marks. Original finish on receiver, bolt and barrel, the furniture partially reblued, some thinning, minor signs of wear. The walnut stock a reproduction with minor signs of use, externally no acceptance marks visible. The magazine bay most likely a reproduction, follower and magazine spring a later replacement. Modified bayonet attachment from a K98 rifle. Front sight guard, leather strap. Cleaning rod missing. Great optical and mechanical appearance. An extremely rare and searched-after collector's rifle, of which only 15.000 were ever made for "live" field trials, as its design was dropped in favor of the simpler Walther G 41. Length 117 cm. WBK: Attention - For this gun we will need to obtain an export license for you, based on your import permit (if needed in your country) or through your firearms dealer - more info here Condition: II +
