An M 1866 Chassepot needle fire rifle 11 mm caliber, SN D15974. Somewhat dull barrel with good rifling/field profile. Stamped several times in front of the receiver as well as the year "1867". Manufacturer's inscription "Mutzig" and model designation on the receiver. Full stock with iron furniture and unassociated discharging stock, right side of butt stamped and numbered on the left. Iron parts spotted in places. Length 130 cm. Comes with a Yatagan bayonet with blued iron scabbard and brass grip in beautiful condition. Length 71 cm. Condition: II -
