Company name and caliber on top, on left side of barrel root "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL". Rear sight removed, adjustable sights on the action. Receiver, stock nose and butt cap with spotted nickel plating, receiver marked "MARLIN SAFETY", model designation on upper grip strap. Two-piece walnut stock. Slight signs of age and use. Overall length 102 cm.
