A large Italian marble column capital, 13th/14th century One-piece white marble capital. Slightly conical shape with stylized acanthus leaf decoration all around. Surrounding bead on the upper edge. Heavily chipped, the interior hollowed out as a plant bowl in the 19th century. Height 52 cm. Condition: III
