Description
A small Italian safe, circa 1800 Wooden box covered with heavy, dark patinated sheet iron. Iron band reinforcements with ball rivets. Hinged door at the front with deeply engraved vine decoration and notched ball rivets. On the right side a keyhole cover with three original, somewhat rusted keys. Lock mechanism with three latches. Enclosed a note with a description of the lock mechanism for opening and locking. Dimensions 42 x 41.5 x 28.5 cm. Condition: II
