A pair of German disc candlesticks, 16th century Pair of candlesticks cast in one piece from brass. Stepped, flared feet, merging into the round shaft with three nodi each. The drip pans with added brass plates and iron spikes. Repairs to the soft solder, the shaft sealed on the underside with a later iron plate. One piece slightly deformed in places. Beautiful age patina. Height 32 and 33.5 cm. Condition: II -
