Belle Epoque garden fountain in patinated bronze. Naturalistically designed shaft over a profiled, leaf-relief round base with egg-and-dart frieze, accompanied by a fully sculpted depiction of Cupid and Venus as a support for a suitably elaborate fountain bowl. Above a multiple jointed, gadrooned baluster shaft with a flat fountain top. H. 132 cm. A French patinated bronze Belle Epoque fountain. France. After 1900.

The angled corners with lion mascarons in relief and large griffin rings. Heavily curved legs of wide, scrolled volutes in leaf relief with applied rosette motifs.
