B. Franke (active in Germany in the 19th century) "Hall in the Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt Castle of Leuthenberg". Original title Stately hall with coffered ceiling and lavishly decorated wall painting. Watercolor, pencil and white heightening/paper. Signed and dated in the margin. 1852, titled and with place inscription below. Image 19.7 cm x 31.2 cm. Matted section 23.5 cm x 31.8 cm. Frame. Built in the early 16th century, Friedensburg Castle, formerly Leutenberg Castle, is located in south-eastern Thuringia and was the residence of the Counts of Schwarzburg-Leutenberg. Watercolor, pencil and whitening on paper. Signed and dated 1852. Inscribed with title/location.
